The transport logistic took place for the first time in 1978 and is therefore already established. Continued growth in e-commerce, progressive digitalization of logistics processes, revolutionary effects of "Industry 4.0" on transport and logistics: The future challenges for the logistics industry are enormous. More than ever, innovative products and technologies are needed to connect people, markets and goods even faster, more efficiently and more sustainably. Transport logistic, the international trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management, is proving to be an excellent meeting place for all industry participants.

At the last trade fair in 2017, 2,162 exhibitors from 62 countries presented their products and innovations to 60,726 visitors from 123 countries. The trade fair had 115,000 m² of exhibition space. The exhibition areas are:

• Intralogistics, Warehouse Management Systems, Auto-ID and Packaging
• Equipment for freight transport
• Services, freight transport and logistics

A high-quality international conference programme with around 200 experts and special events such as the Career Day, air cargo Europe and metropolitan logistic round off the trade fair experience.
