ITB Berlin 2020 [ABGESAGT]

ITB Berlin, short for "International Tourism Exchange Berlin", is the leading world trade fair for the tourism industry. It covers the entire value chain of the tourism industry. Thanks to the geographical structure of the more than 180 participating countries and regions, visitors can easily orient themselfes and find what they are looking for. At ITB Berlin you can find out about the most beautiful travel destinations and get inspiration for your next holiday. For trade visitors, the fair is the most important business platform in the global travel industry. But private visitors can also book their next holiday here. The focus here is always on the industry's most important topics - especially at the ITB Berlin Congress, the largest specialist congress with its unique concept, numerous top-class lectures and current topics of the tourism industry will be presented. The fair took place for the first time in 1966 - thus it can look back on its very own tradition and many years of experience, which additionally underpins its position as a signpost for the tourism industry.

ITB Berlin 2019 attracted a total of 160,000 visitors, including an amazing 113,500 trade visitors. They were advised, informed and inspired by the 10,000 exhibitors on an exhibition area of 160,000 m². A total of 7 billion euros in sales were generated at ITB 2019 - where supply and demand meet at the right place. The various segments were: Countries and Destinations, Adventure Travel, Responsible Tourism, Business Travel, MICE, Career, Center, eTravel, ITB BuchAwards, Hospitality, Cultural Tourism, LGBT Travel, Luxury, Medical Tourism, Travel Technology, Technology, Tours & Activities and Youth Travel & Economy Accommodation. The main topics in 2019 were:

The supporting programme of the fair is full to bursting. With 150 future-oriented events, a highly topical programme and 300 renowned speakers on the subject of innovative business models, nothing should be left to be desired. There are many different types of events.
