MUNICH FABRIC START SPRING.SUMMER 2020 in München

MUNICH FABRIC START is the international textile trade fair. It was founded in 1996 and opens the new season twice a year with a comprehensive range of basic to haute couture collections for fabrics and accessories. It is one of the leading international trade fairs for textiles, which is why the international Who's Who of the fashion industry meets designers and buyers of fashion brands here. The MUNICH FABRIC START is purely a trade visitor fair.

The last MUNICH FABRIC START 2019 attracted 20,300 trade visitors from all over the world to Munich. Around 1050 international exhibitors from 38 countries presented more than 2,000 collections on an exhibition area of over 42,5000 m². The fair extended over 8 exhibition halls and 8 independent exhibition areas: Fabrics, Additionals, Bluezone, Keyhouse, Resource, Trendworld, Sourcing and Design Studios. The focus of the fair was also on the topics "Sustainable Fabrics", "High-tech Coatings, "Intelligent Textile Systems for Function and Activewear" and "Fashion goes Technology".

The accompanying programme of the fair consisted of various different formats, including panel discussions, keynotes, colour forums, lectures, seminars and panel discussions with first-class speakers.
