DOC 2018 in Nürnberg

Renowned experts from many countries present innovations and further developments and discuss the gold standards of eye surgery with the auditorium.

Practical ophthalmic surgery is given a lot of space in wet labs and courses, so that a comprehensive practical training and further education is guaranteed.
A highlight in 2018 is the extension of the Master Class courses to the areas of glaucoma therapy, refractive surgery and eyelid surgery. A new course format is also presented: The Operations Course. The aim is to provide the participant with a clear surgical procedure, divided into individual steps, supplemented by explanations on indication and postoperative follow-up.

In the Pro & Con sessions, the speakers defend their views and discuss with the audience. Also in 2018, the focus will be on video-live-surgery in 3D, which provides particularly detailed insights into special surgical techniques.
Our scientific program is completed by the seminar series Management in Clinic and Practice as well as symposia in the fields of anesthetics, contact lenses and strabology.

The Eye Surgery Seminar will be of particular interest to our primarily conservative colleagues.
