COMPAMED 2019 in Düsseldorf

COMPAMED is the leading international trade fair for high-tech solutions for medical technology. Since 1992 it has been the supplier trade fair taking place parallel to MEDICA and presents high-tech solutions for medical manufacturing. MEDICA is the world's largest medical trade fair and both fairs take place annually in Düsseldorf. In times in which the medical industry is becoming increasingly digital and connected, COMPAMED has an enormous significance. Heads of research and development departments, production managers and technical buyers, as well as designers, packaging specialists and qualification and validation specialists meet at the trade fair. The aim of COMPAMED is to strengthen the interaction between suppliers and manufacturers.

In 2018, COMPAMED attracted 784 exhibitors from 37 nations who presented their products, innovations and solutions on more than 13,000 m² of exhibition space. Together with MEDICA, COMPAMED attracted a total of 120,000 trade visitors from 155 nations. From microsystems and sensors to active implants and special adhesives to linear technology, packaging, 3D printing and high-tech mechanical engineering, there was plenty to see at the trade fair. The accompanying programme of the fair included various forums and events at which leading experts presented current topics and trends. The forums included the COMPAMED High-Tech Forum and the COMPAMED Suppliers Forum, as well as the T5 Career Forum. A matchmaking for visitors was also offered.
