productronica 2019 in München

Productronica, the world's leading trade fair for the development and manufacturing of electronics, takes place every two years. The trade fair focuses on new products, solutions and innovations from the fields of electronics manufacturing and development and is the only trade fair in the world to cover the entire value chain of the electronics manufacturing industry. It is the most important platform for innovation in the industry - and therefore various world premieres of new products take place here. It also functions as the most important business platform for the electronics manufacturing industry - important decision-makers from all participating industries meet here. This makes productronica the perfect place to establish new business relationships and maintain tried and tested ones. It took place for the first time in 1975 and thus celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2015. SEMICON Europa has been taking place parallel to productronica since 2017 - complementing it with regard to the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

Productronica 2017 attracted a total of 45,000 visitors from 96 countries, who were impressed by the products, innovations and services of the 1,560 exhibitors on an exhibition area of 88,000 m². The key topics for 2019 are: Smart Maintainance, Digitalization in Electronics Production and Robotics & Automation. The fair will be organised in the following exhibition areas:

The productronica supporting program offers a variety of events, including, for example: The special shows "Smart Data - Future Manufacturing" and Hardware Data Mining by VDMA and Frauenhofer IZM respectively, "Accelerating Talents" as a platform for job placement between companies and young talents in the industry, live demonstrations on the latest topics in electronics manufacturing, "productronica Fast Forward" to present innovative ideas, prototypes, products and services, "SMT Speakers Corner", various forums and the "productronica Innovation Award" - presented in cooperation with the trade journal "productronic".
