Information for Exhibitors and Visitors
The Bits & Pretzels festival is made by founders and for founders. It was established in 2014 and has been taking place in Munich every year since. Starting as "Weißwurst-breakfast" with 80 participants, the festival grew so much in the next three years that the number of visitors was limited to 5,000. Well-known speakers of the past years are: Barack Obama, Jessica Alba and Richard Branson.
In 2020 the Bits & Pretzels Festival will be bigger than ever. For a whole week and worldwide it will take place virtually - from the 5 most important start-up hotspots worldwide like San Francisco and Shanghai. At the STARTUP EXHIBITION exhibitors will have the chance to present their innovations and concepts to more than 300 investors.
Also in 2020 the Pretzel Award will be presented again. 100 selected start-ups will give their best to convince with their innovations and secure the coveted award. The motto of this year's event is: "Show, don't tell".
