DOC 2020 [ABGESAGT] in Nürnberg

The Internationaler Kongress der Deutschen Ophthalmochirurgen (International Congress of German Ophthalmic Surgeons), DOC, is one of the most important events for ophthalmic surgery in Europe. The latest developments and innovations are presented and discussed here by renowned experts to a large specialist audience.

Around 6,100 participants took part in the 32nd DOC 2019 and were impressed by the innovations and products of 125 exhibitors on an exhibition area of more than 4,600 m². The main topics this year were:

• Glaucoma surgery
• Corneal surgery
• Cataract surgery
• Eyelid and Orbital Surgery
• Retina
• Refractive Surgery
• Strabismus

The supporting programme consisted of various smaller and larger events, including the seminar series "Management in Clinics and Practices", as well as symposia in the fields of anaesthesia, contact lenses and strabology. In addition, there was a comprehensive program for the ophthalmological assistants (OAP), i.e. for the medical assistants and the surgical nurses. In addition, the Master Class courses were extended to include glaucoma therapy, refractive surgery and eyelid surgery.
