iba 2023 in München

iba is the leading world trade fair for bakery, confectionery and snacks. Since 1949, the most successful companies in the baking industry have been meeting here and offering a comprehensive overview of all innovations on the market. The diverse range of products and services is not only aimed at restaurateurs, café owners, the food retail trade, hotel specialists and caterers, because craft businesses, large-scale bakers and the industry also get their money's worth. This year's focus topics deal with food trends, craft, health, sustainability, complete solutions and quality assurance. A special highlight is the iba.VIRTUAL BAKERY TOURS, which celebrated their premiere at iba 2018. The multimedia experience invites visitors to take a look inside the bakeries of renowned master bakers from around the world with the help of VR glasses and 360-degree videos.

The iba takes place every 3 years, but had to be cancelled in 2021 due to corona. The last trade fair in 2018 was a complete success with 1,373 exhibitors and over 77,000 visitors. The program included 100 expert presentations in the iba.FORUM and iba.SPEAKERS CORNER, the "BLOG'N'ROLL" event and live vocational competitions.
