productronica is the leading international trade fair for electronics and especially for the manufacturing as well as the development of electronics and is a place where around 900 exhibitors from over 30 different countries can come together to exhibit the latest products and to present and exchange ideas and converse about new innovations. For exhibitors, the show is one of the most important events of the year, as it is one of the largest in their industry and makes it possible to further expand their network in the electronics industry internationally.
After being held for the first time in 2000, professionals in the electronics industry can no longer do without productronica today. There, visitors can get a picture of the latest products and developments in the sector in one place and talk, exchange ideas and get opinions from exhibitors in real time.
From over 60 countries, productronica welcomes around 20,000 visitors and over 2000 forum visitors over the four days of the exhibition. At the last event, most visitors were welcomed from the task areas of manufacturing, production and quality assurance and control, as well as visitors from business and plant management.
Among the top 5 visitor countries besides Germany, Italy is at the top, closely followed by France, Austria, Switzerland and Turkey. However, the show is also popular in countries such as Israel, Poland as well as Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Overall, international attendees make up about 55% of all visitors, who can get their fill of what's on display across 88,000 square meters of exhibition space.
