The Gourmet Festival is Europe's largest open-air food event. Every year, exquisite restaurateurs offer a wide range of high-quality and selected gastronomic, food/non-food and beverage offerings. The accompanying supporting program with live music, tastings, live cooking and competitions provides plenty of fun and entertainment.

The 11th edition attracted over 100,000 visitors and 200 exhibitors to Düsseldorf. On a culinary promenade of 2.3 km, the offer ranged from haute cuisine to regional cuisine and street food trucks. Whether sushi, coffee specialties or exclusive cocktails, the international audience was able to enjoy a variety of high-quality dishes at the event. METRO once again acted as the main sponsor and partner of the hospitality industry for the Gourmet Festival Düsseldorf.
