BIOFACH 2024 in Nürnberg

BIOFACH is the world's premier trade fair for organic food and is held annually at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. It began in Ludwigshafen in 1990 and has become a permanent fixture in the global exhibition landscape since then.

The fair showcases everything related to organic food, including beverages and non-food organic products. It is held in conjunction with VIVANESS, the International Trade Fair for Natural Cosmetics, and attracts not only industry players but also representatives from politics, NGOs, associations, VIPs, and other public figures.

The fair features a wide range of products, such as fresh produce, frozen products, dry products for cooking and baking, snacks and sweets, beverages, non-food items, and technology and equipment. Additionally, it hosts the BIOFACH Congress, which focuses on topics like transformation, global crisis management, food security, and the connection between organic agriculture and the future.

At the 2022 Summer Edition of BIOFACH, over 24,000 trade visitors from 137 countries visited the fair and were impressed by the product diversity of the 2,276 exhibitors from 94 countries. Program highlights included the Unpacked product area, the Agriculture Forum at the Congress, and numerous workshops. The main themes of the 2022 event were climate protection, sustainability, and global food security issues.
