The Interdisciplinary Wound Congress (IWC) 2025 is one of the leading specialist events for wound care and wound management in German-speaking countries. It will take place on November 27, 2025 in the Sartory Halls in Cologne and will be offered as a hybrid event - both on site and online. The congress is organized by PWG-Seminare in cooperation with the University Hospital of Cologne. The event is aimed at professionals from the fields of nursing, medicine and healthcare, including wound experts, nursing staff, nursing service managers and owners of wound centers and care facilities. In 2023, the IWC attracted over 1,000 participants on site and around 200 virtual participants, making it the best-attended edition to date.
Main topics of the IWC 2025:
The IWC 2025 offers an extensive program with lectures by renowned speakers such as Prof. Dr. Volker Großkopf, Dr. Susanne Kanya, Astrid Probst, Veronika Gerber, Dr. Stephan Eder and Dr. Alexander Risse. In addition to the main program, there will be numerous satellite symposia and workshops offering practical insights and training opportunities. Participants can collect up to 14 ICW recertification points - 6 points by attending the congress and a further 8 points through a free e-learning module on the topic of “Lymphoedema”.
