IFAT 2026 in München

IFAT is the world's leading trade fair for environmental technologies and covers the entire field of water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. As the international meeting place for the industry, it presents the complete spectrum from drinking water supply and wastewater disposal to waste and raw materials management to innovations in pollutant management and minerals. With its innovative offerings, it sets the standards for the future. IFAT Munich's newly designed technical supporting program provides information on current industry topics. In 2026, the focus will be on waste & secondary raw materials and water & wastewater.

IFAT 2024 attracted around 120,000 visitors from over 150 countries to the Munich exhibition center. A total of 3,100 exhibitors from 59 countries and regions presented themselves and their products across 300,000 m² in 18 halls. The supporting program was filled with inspiring discussions, workshops and innovative technologies. In particular, the question of how to use and reuse resources efficiently was the focus of the trade fair.
