The Fair and Congress company of Karlsruhe curates up to 300 events annually, welcoming up to 770.000 visitors and 8.000 exhibitors at three locations Karlsruhe Fair, congress center Karlsruhe and the Europe-hall.
The Karlsruhe Fair was only opened in 2003 and is a location for national and international audiences and trade fairs, as well as events. In the fair center of Karlsruhe, there are up to 40 annual events. Belonging to the 52.000 m² big fair site, there is also the dm-arena with 12.500 m² of space. Additionally, there is a 62.000 m² big outdoor area.
The most widely known fairs are the IT-Trans, the international conference and trade fair for IT-solutions in public transit and the art Karlsruhe, the international fair for classic and modern art.

The Karlsruhe Fair is reachable over the motorways A5, 8 and 65. From Munich/StuttgartFrom this direction, take the A8 and then follow the K9652 in direction Oststadt. Follow the signs saying “Messe”. From Frankfurt/MainFrom this direction, take the A5 until the exit 44-Karlsruhe Durlach. Then, follow the signs. From BerlinFrom Berlin, first take the A9, then the A6. Afterwards, take the A5 until the exit 44-Karlsruhe Durlach. Then, follow the signs. Baden Airpark Airport The airport is roughly 40 km from the fair site. To the fair locationFrom the airport, take bus 140 (Hahn Express) to Karlsruhe. A single ride costs 10 € and takes 40 minutes. From Karlsruhe main station, take STR 5 in direction Rheinhafen over K.Krug until the stop Karlsruhe Entenfang. From there, S2 direction Rheinstetten until the stop Leichtsandstr./Messe Karlsruhe, Rheinstetten-Forch. Afterwards it is just a few meters to the fair entrance. TaxiWith the taxi, a ride costs roughly 68 €, and takes 30 minutes in good traffic conditions. |
