Information for Exhibitors and Visitors
BioSüd is the organic trade fair for the specialised trade. It is one of the four organic trade fairs that together offer an independent platform to bring together national and regional players in the German organic sector. The fair was founded in 2009 and takes place every year in Augsburg. BioSüd is aimed exclusively at trade visitors, for example from the natural food and health food trade, the speciality trade, independent food retailers as well as gastronomy and bulk consumers.
BioSüd 2017 attracted a total of 4,300 trade visitors, who were advised by the 430 exhibitors about their products and concepts. Like the other three organic trade fairs, BioSüd is climate-neutral. All emissions caused by the operation of the exhibition halls, the arrival and departure of visitors, etc. are offset by the build-up of humus on organic farms in Germany. Politicians, associations and journalists will also find a forum for exchanging ideas and information here.
