modell-hobby-spiel 2019 in Leipzig

The model-hobby-spiel is an exhibition for model making, model railways, creative design and games. It is the largest event of its kind in the industry and has been taking place annually since 1996. It is Germany's largest hobby room and offers visitors a wide range of different leisure activities. In the theme worlds of the trade fair, visitors are offered action areas with experience character, workshops and participatory offers for all ages, specialist exchanges and advice for beginners and experts, as well as trends, materials and products.

As last year, around 100,000 visitors are expected at the 24th model-hobby-spiel 2019. They can experience the innovations and products of the more than 600 exhibitors at their stands on an exhibition area of 90,000 m². The five theme worlds in 2019 are:

• Spielwiese - movement, board and puzzle games, toys, award ceremony's (Graf LUDO award)
• Creative space - innumerable suggestions around the topics handicrafts, painting & drawing, airbrush, decorating, floristry
• Tekki Area - Multikopter, FPV, Virtual Reality, Race-Cars, Robotics, 3D Printing, CNC Milling and Laser Engraving
• Modellwelt - model railroads, car model making, flight modls making, ship model making, plastic model making & cardboard model making
• Collectors' corner - philately, numismatics, car models

The supporting programme of the fair includes various events, including exhibitions, workshops, shows, indoor shows, lectures, demonstrations and award ceremonies (Graf LUDO).
