Deutscher Hautkrebskongress 2019 in Ludwigshafen

The Deutscher Hautkrebskongress (German Skin Cancer Congress) is the most important national event for all experts in this field. Annually, the current state of research and knowledge of the industry are presented, offering the best opportunity for everyone to stay up to date.

The Deutscher Hautkrebskongress 2019 (German Skin Cancer Congress 2019) is the 29th of its kind. It will present the current state of knowledge in the field, current developments in diagnostics and therapy for various skin cancer types and the latest dermato-oncological studies. All this will be presented by experienced physicians and renowned scientists. International experts such as John Haanen (Netherlands Cancer institute), Alex Statigos (University of Athens Medical School) and Nobel Prize winner Stefan Hell (Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry) will give plenary lectures on new findings in melanoma therapy, melanoma prevention in times of immunotherapy and targeted therapies, as well as on light microscopy in the 21st century.

The practical advanced training program of the congress will be peppered with workshops in the form of, for example, suture courses & dermatoscopy courses, with award ceremonies such as the Fleur Hiege Memorial Award of the Hiege Foundation against Skin Cancer, the 15th German Skin Cancer Award or the Poster Awards.
