Blechexpo 2019 in Stuttgart

Blechexpo, the international trade fair for sheet metal processing, takes place every two years in Stuttgart. It is closely intertwined with its sister fair Schweisstec - the two events complement each other perfectly. The trade fair duo is the only event worldwide that deals with both sheet metal processing and joining technology - the aim is to illustrate the entire process chain of cold forming sheet metal processing. Visitors thus benefit from practical and time-saving synergy effects. The two trade fairs are an important meeting place for the industries and serve as information and communication platforms as well as procurement platforms.

Blechexpo and Schweisstec 2017 together attracted more than 39,000 visitors from more than 100 countries, who were thrilled by the products and innovations of the 1336 exhibitors on an exhibition area of 95,000 m². The topics at Blechexpo 2019 are:

The supporting programme includes various lectures and forums. In addition, as every two years, the "Blechexpo Award" is presented in six categories: Handling technology/robotics, process control and quality assurance, thermal/mechanical separation technologies, cold/warm forming technologies, multifunctional sheet metal processing technology, thermal/mechanical joining and joining technology. Participation is free of charge for trade visitors.
