BioSüd 2020 [ABGESAGT] in Augsburg

BioSüd is an organic trade fair for the specialised trade. It is one of four organic trade fairs that together offer an independent platform to bring together national and regional players of the German organic sector. The fair was founded in 2009 and takes place every year in Augsburg. BioSüd is aimed exclusively at trade visitors, for example from the natural food and health food trade, the speciality trade, the independent food retail trade and catering trade and at bulk consumers.

More than 4,800 trade visitors came to BioSüd 2019. Over 500 exhibitors provided advice on organic products, natural and reform products and the concepts behind them. Once again, the trade fair focused on the core values of the sector: not only to produce and trade organic products, but also to live the values behind them, to carry them into society and thus set signals. Like the other three BioFairs, BioSüd is climate-neutral. All emissions caused by the operation of the exhibition halls, the arrival and departure of visitors, etc., are offset by the cultivation of humus on organic farms in Germany. Politicians, associations and journalists will also find a forum for exchanging ideas and information here.

The BNN - Bundesverband Naturkost Naturwaren - used BioSüd as a platform to launch its industry campaign "Eco instead of Ego". BNN has been the patron of BioMessen already for over 10 years.
As part of the accompanying programme, the BNN campaign stand and the "More organic for tomorrow" panel discussion were offered, among others.
