ProWein 2020 [ABGESAGT] in Düsseldorf

ProWein has been held annually for 25 years. By now it has become the world's leading trade fair for wines and spirits, with a higher proportion of foreign exhibitors than any other trade fair. Not only does the trade fair cover all wine-growing regions, ut it also features suppliers from all sectors and categories of quality.

ProWein 2019 attracted around 61,500 visitors from 142 countries, who were impressed by the range of wine and spirits on offer from over 6,900 exhibitors. The high proportion of visitors with decision-making authority was once again a distinguishing feature this year: more than 80% of visitors are directly involved in purchasing decisions. Remarkable guests of the fair were: German Federal Minister of Agriculture Julia Klöckner and the two Prime Ministers António Luís Santos da Costa from Portugal and Andrej Plenkovic from Croatia. The trade fair also focused on the topic "craft drinks". 

In addition to important industry news and interesting discussions, numerous tastings and over 500 exciting events such as specialist lectures and seminars by exhibitors enriched the trade fair. Various special shows such as "same but different" provided additional inspiration.
