Musikmesse 2020 [ABGESAGT] in Frankfurt

Musikmesse is the international trade fair for all areas of the music industry: musical instruments, music production and marketing, accessories, sheet music and publishers, media and marketing. The density of specialist dealers and distributors at Musikmesse is unique in Europe. With special business programmes, the fair will be a highlight for retailers. It is the perfect place to make new contacts and cultivate existing business relationships and brings together the music industry and musicians from all over the world. The focus is on professional exchange within the music industry - therefore the fair is only partially open to the general public. Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound will take place in parallel and will thus be a strong trade fair duo.

In 2018, Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound together attracted 90,200 visitors - 72% of whom were trade visitors (65,000) - who were impressed by the products and innovations of more than 1,800 exhibitors. In 2020, the Musikmesse celebrates its 40th anniversary and includes the new topic Music Education in its programme. The product groups of the Musikmesse are:

An incredible number of events and specials take place as part of the supporting programme of the trade fair. Starting with the Musikmesse Festival, where around 100 concerts take place in 50 locations parallel to the Musikmesse in all styles and genres, through lectures on current industry topics, workshops, clinics, awards ceremonies, keynotes, panels, networking events by industry associations, to Career Day, the Musikmesse Streetfood Festival, various live sets and much more.
