The bpt is the federal association of acting veterinarians. Every year it organises the bpt congress, which is the linchpin of the DACH veterinary world and other European countries. From aspects of animal protection to treatment methods and vaccinations, all topics are represented here.
In 2020, the bpt Congress must be held online due to the circumstances surrounding Corona. Last year it attracted 2,035 trade visitors. They came to the 160 exhibitors for advice and information on the latest developments in the industry. The topics ranged from orthopaedics for horses to prevention in cattle farming and animal welfare aspects at slaughter. The motto of digitalisation was the central theme of the entire event programme.
In the framework programme of the congress there were various events for business start-ups, students and veterinary assistants. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the association, there was an exuberant party in the evening.
