KAD Deutsche Kardiodiagnostik-Tage 2020 in Leipzig

The German Cardiodiagnostic Days in Leipzig are an important meeting place for all players in the industry. Once a year, experts and young beginners meet here. Cardiovascular imaging has become an integral part of everyday diagnostics. Before starting a therapy and in order to estimate prognoses, it offers the best decision bases which make today's clinical everyday life possible in the first place. The main target groups of the event are beginners in cardiac imaging, experts from radiology, cardiosurgery, cardiology, internal medicine, general medicine and nuclear medicine.

The patrons of the event are: The German Society for Cardiology - Cardiovascular Research, the German Society for Nuclear Medicine and rtaustria - Austrian Association of Radiology Technologists. The main topics for the 12th German Cardiodiagnostic Days 2020 are:

The accompanying program of the cardiodiagnostic days is broadly diversified: MRI, CT, nuclear cardiology and echo workshops, a workshop on MRI in pacemaker/ICD carriers as well as the new workshop on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in cardiovascular imaging are offered here. There will also be a keynote lecture that will give an outlook on the future of cardiovascular imaging in 2030. Last but not least, there will be a Science Slam and a World Cup between three interdisciplinary teams from the DACH region - Germany, Austria and Switzerland - on the topic of cardiomyopathy.
