The Maifest in Mannheim is Germany's largest regional trade fair. The Mannheim Maimarkt is one of the oldest institutions in the city of Mannheim - it has been taking place since 1613 and has only paused during war or epidemics since then. A total of 350,000 visitors came to Maifest 2019, who were inspired by the more than 20,000 products of the 1,400 exhibitors. The May Festival was spread over 47 halls and 75,000 m² of exhibition space.
