IHM - Internationale Handwerksmesse 2020 [ABGESAGT] in München

At IHM, the International trade fair for craftmanship, everything revolves around building, renovation and modernisation. Every year the fair takes place at the Munich Exhibition Grounds. It has existed since 1948 and can therefore look back on its very own trade fair tradition. It covers all news and trends from the craft trades, which is why important players present their innovations to the public on this No. 1 sales platform for the sector. The IHM attracts numerous prominent guests from both business and politics - representatives of the four leading associations of the German economy BDI, BDA, DIHK and ZDH meet here annually for the Munich Summit Talk.

At IHM 2019, more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 60 trades presented their products and innovations on 74,000 m² of exhibition space. Together with Garten München, the 2019 trade fair was able to attract over 110,000 visitors - of which around 30,000 were trade visitors. The fair had a total turnover of 70 million euros. Also an entire hall was reserved to trade visitors only - 10,000 m² of extra space with specialist forums, consulting islands and much more. At the IHM every year the representatives of the four leading associations of the German economy BDI, BDA, DIHK and ZDH meet for the Munich Top Discussion of the German Economy on the International Trade Fair in Munich. Probably the most prominent guest at IHM 2019, however, was German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel. The subject areas for 2020 cover the entire world of crafts and trades:

In addition to special shows, discussion forums, live workshops and professional advice, the IHM 2020 supporting programme includes the following highlights: The Forum "Treffpunkt Fachwelt", the "Digitalzentrum Handwerk", the joint stand of the Bavarian Chambers of Commerce, the special show "INNOVATION GEWINNT!", and various awards ceremonies.
