COMPOSITES EUROPE 2020 in Stuttgart

COMPOSITES EUROPE is the European trade fair for composites, technology and applications. It has been held annually since 2006 and is a meeting place for the industry of international importance. As an international business platform for the composites industry, being located in Germany - the largest European composites market and growth driver for the industry - is ideal. 

More than 7,500 visitors from 64 nations travelled to COMPOSITES EUROPE 2019. On an exhibition area of 20,000 m², they received advice from 310 exhibitors on the latest products, process technologies, concepts and services. This year's COMPOSITES EUROPE focused on digital process chains. Machine and plant manufacturers showed their technologies in interaction on joint exhibition areas during ongoing operation. The 15th COMPOSITES EUROPE will take place in 2020 - a small anniversary that will be celebrated appropriately. The exhibition areas are:

• Raw materials (basic chemical products, fillers, additives, thermoplastics, core materials)
• Semi-finished, intermediate and finished products
• Fibers, fiber products, semi-finished and intermediate products, processors
• Manufacturers of products, composite products
• Processing technologies
• Facilities, equipment, consumables

• Services and support

The accompanying programme of the 2019 trade fair included interesting lectures, special presentations and live demonstrations with renowned speakers. The 5th ICC - INTERNATIONAL COMPOSITES CONFERENCE - took place for the first time at the same time as the trade fair. In the future the two events will form a common concept. The Lightweight Technologies Forum rounded off the trade fair experience with a combination of guided theme tours and conference presentations.
