FLORIAN is the trade fair for fire brigades, civil defence and disaster control. It was founded in 1997 and takes place every year in association with the rescue service forum aescutec. The event is aimed at decision-makers from the fire brigade, civil defence and disaster control as well as procurement, rescue services and their employees and emergency services.
The last event of the series, FLORIAN 2019, was attended by more than 20,000 guests, some of whom even came from abroad. This represents the FLORIAN visitor record to date. On an exhibition area of 18,000 m², the 270 exhibitors from 12 countries provided advice on the latest innovations, products, services and concepts. In 2021 FLORIAN will take place for the 19th time.
The accompanying programme of the 2019 fair included various workshops on virtual and digital fire brigade training as well as a symposium for the rescue service. A total of 100 contributions were made.
