HUSUM Wind 2021 in Husum

HUSUM Wind is the leading trade fair for the wind industry in German-speaking countries. As early as 1989, when the wind energy industry was still in its infancy, the first "Husum Wind Energy Days" took place. Since then, the fair has presented itself every year as a workbench, meeting point and showcase for the wind industry. The trade fair reflects the cutting-edge technologies and innovative strength of the market along the entire value chain of wind turbines. The trade fair is a product, networking and knowledge platform in one. It covers the areas of plant construction, service, planning, financing and operation, plant components and raw materials.

Approximately 18,000 trade visitors travelled to HUSUM Wind 2019. On an exhibition area of around 27,500 m², they were able to obtain advice from around 600 exhibitors on the latest products, innovations, technologies and concepts in the industry. HUSUM 2019 marked the 30th anniversary of the fair, which was celebrated appropriately. Current topics such as the EEG funding process were on the agenda. The special topics of the fair were:

• Power-to-x
• Post-utilization concepts

The accompanying programme included an exciting congress programme, forums and matchmaking formats such as the international cooperation exchange HUSUM Wind Match and the job fair platform WindCareer. The Wind Walker Festival, the HUSUM Wind Run and the HUSUM Wind Trophy were also held.
