Intec 2021 [DIGITAL] in Leipzig

The Intec - International Trade Fair for Machine Tools, Manufacturing and Automation Technology - is aimed at both trade visitors and the general public. Here, every two years, everything revolves around machine tools, other machines and equipment, machine-relevant products, fixtures, clamping devices, production automation and robotics, measuring technology and quality assurance, additive management, special machines, assemblies, tools, jigs and fixtures, production technology for power generation systems from renewable energy sources, research facilities and institutes, universities, colleges and industry-relevant services. Thus, Intec offers a representative and comprehensive range of the entire spectrum of production technology for metalworking. Intec and "Z" jointly take place together every two years and form a trade fair duo.
In 2019 the trade fair duo was able to attract a total of 24,400 visitors from 41 countries. More than 1,300 exhibitors presented their products and innovations on the 70,000 m² exhibition area. Important topics included resource-efficient production, digitisation and the possible ways for hidden champions to become market leaders. The product profile for 2019 included:

The fair was rounded off by an extensive supporting programme. For example the special shows SENSORIK, Additiv + Hybrid and LEAN FACTORY. The New Mobility trade forum, the Fachkräftetag (Specialists' Day) and the Intec Award ceremony provided a complete trade fair experience.
