MUNICH FABRIC START is the international textile trade fair. It was founded in 1996 and opens the new season twice a year with a comprehensive range of basic to haute couture collections for fabrics and accessories. It is one of the leading international trade fairs for textiles, which is why the international Who's Who of the fashion industry meets designers and buyers of fashion brands here. The MUNICH FABRIC START is purely a trade visitor fair.
The MUNICH FABRIC START SPRING.SUMMER will take place again in 2021. Before that, in 2020, it was able to attract around 18,400 trade visitors, who came to the more than 1,000 exhibitors for advice on the latest trends, collections and products. The main theme of the fair was thrivability - but the new awareness of ecology and environmentally friendly materials also had a noticeable impact.
