LIFE AND DEATH 2022 is a training event for professionals and volunteers from hospice, funeral culture, pastoral care, grief counseling and palliative care. The event is characterized by its special mixture of trade fair on the topic of death, dying and mourning, specialist congress and numerous exciting lectures. For the 13th time the LIFE AND DEATH took place this year in Bremen and has in October 2022 its premiere in Freiburg.
This year's focus is on children and youth in end-of-life and bereavement care with "Is There Ice Cream in Heaven?". In addition, more than 100 exhibitors offer services, information and products on the topic of life and death. The supporting program includes a creative range of events:
- Art exhibition
- Coffin painting
- Coffin rehearsal
- Mourning workshop
... as well as a diverse mix of open lectures, counseling sessions and workshops.
