WTCE - World Travel Catering & Onboard Services EXPO 2023 in Hamburg

After its launch in the year 2012, WTCE has risen to be one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year in the catering and onboarding industry and has grown from having attracted just shy of 200 exhibitors and over 900 visitors for the first event to attracting over 4000 attendees in 2019.

The World Travel Catering & Onboard Services EXPO prides itself on being the main marketplace for people in the travel catering industry as well as related fields such as passenger comfort and onboard retail. The event brings together exhibitors who present their luxurious and innovative collections to visitors.

Today, the event is one that offers an excellent opportunity to broaden one's knowledge in the field, discuss the newly learned and discovered as well as speak to other enthusiasts and people from within the industry. Furthermore meeting new people is made easy at the fair and this can possibly lead to more opportunities in the future. The event gives attendees the access to freely speak with experts, and get their opinions on specific problems and thoughts as well as on the overall state of the industry or the fair itself. 

In 2020 the organisers were forced to adapt and switch to turning the event into a digital one due to the worldwide pandemic. They offered a wide range of webinars and were able to make due. Two years laters, for the 2022 edition of the trade fair, it was possible to go back to meeting face to face, which the WTCE was able to do successfully. Welcoming 95 first time exhibitors, the organisers were able to bring on board over 130 airlines who were greeted by almost 5000 visitors who travelled to Germany from over 100 different countries.
