AvD-Oldtimer-Grand-Prix 2023 in Nürburg

The AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix is the most important festival for classic racing cars in Central Europe and Scandinavia. Hundreds of historic race cars, pre-war vehicles as well as formula cars from different eras will be on display at the Nürburgring. A total of more than 30 top-class qualifying and racing races will be held on the festival days. A popular highlight will be the international Masters Racing Legends races with the fastest Formula 1 monoposti such as March, Lotus, Tyrrell or even Brabham and Hesketh.

• HGPCA Formula I until 1965
• HSCC Formula II
• Formela Junior "Lurani Trophy
• Vintage Sportscar Trophy

In addition, visitors can visit the exhibitions Vintage Sportscar Trophy in the historic paddock as well as the Slowly sideways with spectacular rally cars in historic driving positions. Offers for free driving as well as other specials round off the program.

More than 30,000 spectators attended the 49th edition of the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix in 2022. Most recently, the event had to be canceled due to flooding on the Ahr River. In total, more than 20 races and GLPs with historic race cars took place at the Nürburgring. Special highlights were sports car races with fields from the 1950s to the 2010s as well as races of historic Formula 1 cars of the Cosworth era. Thanks to a contract extension, the event has now secured its permanent place at the Nürburgring until 2028.
