Frankfurter Buchmesse 2024

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the most important international marketplace for all types of content. It has been held every year since 1949 and is the hub of the industry. Publishing experts, writers and culture enthusiasts, representatives of the technology sector and the creative industries such as film and gaming come from all over the world to network, negotiate, learn about the latest technologies and experience the cultural character of the event. Journalists, authors, stars and culture enthusiasts fill the exhibition halls every year and make Frankfurt the global center of the media and publishing industry. The winners of various prizes, such as the German Book Prize, the Peace Prize and the German Youth Literature Prize, are also announced.

On its 75th anniversary, the last Frankfurter Buchmesse in 2023 was able to draw a positive balance in terms of visitor numbers with 105,000 trade visitors from 130 countries. Over 4,000 exhibitors from 95 countries presented themselves and their products in the halls of Messe Frankfurt.

Guest country at FBM 2024 is Italy, which will present itself with numerous cultural contributions.
