ARTe Kunstmesse Dortmund 2025

The ARTe Art Fair Dortmund 2025 will take place from November 7 to 9, 2025, in Hall 1 of the Dortmund Exhibition Center and will present contemporary art in an open, inviting atmosphere across approximately 1,800 m² of exhibition space. Visitors will experience a diverse range of works – from sculptures, paintings, drawings, and photographs to collages – presented by regional and international galleries and artists.

The focus will be on the following main themes:

• Contemporary art in a wide variety of media (painting, photography, sculpture, and much more)
• Works by established artists and up-and-coming talents
• Regional and international perspectives in dialogue
• Free art tours with art history commentary
• Art education in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere

The fair is expected to once again feature around 70 exhibitors showcasing their work; at the premiere in 2024, there were over 80 galleries and artists on display in a space of around 1,800 m² – a strong start for the format in Dortmund.

A special highlight are the freely bookable tours, during which art historians explain current positions in a historical and artistic context in small groups. Accompanying movement, music, and services such as packaging options and cashless payment round off the experience.
