German Film Comic Con 2025 in Dortmund

German Film & Comic Con Dortmund 2025 will take place on December 6 and 7, 2025, at the Westfalenhallen Dortmund and offers a diverse meeting place for fans of comics, films, series, cosplay, and pop culture. The event is aimed at hobby fans as well as families and offers a wide range of star guests and creative community content.

The event will focus on the following main themes:

• Film and TV star guests with autograph and selfie sessions
• Fan merchandise, figures, posters, and comic merchandise
• Live drawing, panels, readings, and workshops with artists
• Large cosplay community: competitions, shows, and group presentations
• Stage programs, Q&A sessions, and fan photos in front of movie backdrops

Stars confirmed so far include Caity Lotz (Arrow, DC's Legends of Tomorrow), Madelaine Petsch (Riverdale), Wil Wheaton (Star Trek, The Big Bang Theory), Joseph Mazzello (Jurassic Park, Bohemian Rhapsody), and David Arquette (Scream) – they will be available for autographs, selfies, and Q&A sessions on both days. In addition, the program includes creative inspiration from live artists, panels, fan merchandise stands, photo opportunities in front of movie backdrops, and a wide range of workshops.

In previous editions, German Comic Con in Dortmund was perceived as a fan highlight with strong visitor numbers: in 2024, the event already attracted around 45,000 visitors – a benchmark that is also expected in 2025.
