Tonmeistertagung 2025 in Düsseldorf

The 33rd Tonmeistertagung 2025 will take place from November 12 to 15 at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf and is Europe's leading congress for professional audio professionals. It is aimed at sound engineers, producers, developers, and specialists and managers from the fields of broadcasting, studio, film, stage, and research. Organized by the Association of German Sound Engineers (VDT) every two years, the conference combines a high-caliber congress program with an accompanying trade fair and stands for practical training and intensive knowledge exchange.

The focus is on the following main topics:

• Lectures and workshops on immersive audio, AI, acoustics, broadcast, film, and game audio
• Exhibition of new hardware and software from the pro audio industry
• Poster sessions, pro-and-con discussions, and interactive sessions
• Live mixing workshops and exclusive demos with industry partners
• Exclusive networking formats such as the Connecting Audio Night

The trade fair comprises around 100 exhibitors with over 120 brands on approximately 650 m² of exhibition space, complemented by an education forum with universities and association areas. The congress program offers more than 150 sessions, including keynotes, panels, and guided tours—a reflection of technological trends and artistic developments. Evening formats such as Connecting Audio Night at Dr. Thompson's Seifenfabrik promote informal exchange between industry professionals.
