Anime Messe Babelsberg 2025 in Potsdam

Anime Messe Babelsberg 2025 will take place from July 4 to 6, 2025, at Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam, transforming the historic amusement park into an adventure and animation land for anime, manga, and cosplay fans of all ages. The event is family-friendly, with a special focus on stage performances, community experiences, and international culture.

The event will focus on the following main themes:

• Concert events with artists such as nano with band, J-Disco, and open-air shows
• Cosplay competitions, AMV contests, and drawing competitions with attractive prizes (€500 prize money)
• Live panels and autograph sessions with guests from Japan, including script writers, voice actors, and character designers
• Workshops on cosplay, live drawing, gaming tournaments, and Japanese street food
• Large exhibitor and dealer areas with over 100 booths, Japanese market stalls, and community activities

Special highlights include the world premiere of the fantasy anime “Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra” with guests of honor from Japan, live drawing by Eri Kojima, and the headliner concert nano with band in the Vulkan Arena. In addition, a Japanese fair, fireworks on Saturday evening, and a disco night round out the program.

After attracting 22,000 visitors in 2024, the organizer expects over 25,000 visitors and over 100 exhibitors, artists, and fan projects again in 2025.
