Metropol Con Berlin 2026

MetropolCon Berlin 2026 will take place from July 2–5, 2026, at the silent green Kulturquartier and is aimed at fans, professionals, and creative minds from the fields of fantasy, science fiction, horror, and related media and cultural areas.

The event will focus on the following main topics:

• Cross-media genres: fantasy, science fiction, and horror
• Literature, self-publishing, and publishing
• Pop culture, gaming, cosplay, and community encounters
• Film, TV, streaming, and digital formats
• Art, design, and research in the field of fantasy media worlds

The convention is viewed as highly professional by exhibitors and visitors alike: According to information from the trade fair profile, around 70 exhibitors have already presented themselves on approximately 750 m² of exhibition space at previous editions. In addition, the first guest appearances by renowned authors such as Becky Chambers as “Guests of Honor” for 2026 have been announced – a sign that MetropolCon is continuing to develop into an established fixture in the German-speaking convention and cultural scene.
