PraxisBörse Universität Göttingen 2026

The Göttingen University Practice Exchange 2026 will take place over two days on June 9 and 10, 2026. On June 9, it will be held on the North Campus (foyer of the Faculty of Physics, Friedrich-Hund-Platz 1), and on June 10, on the Central Campus (foyer in the ZHG, Platz der Göttinger Sieben 5). Organized by the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, the fair is the central job and career fair for students, graduates, and young professionals, offering exchange and orientation at the interface between science and business.

The focus is on the following main topics:

• Internships, working student positions, and entry-level opportunities
• Career and professional prospects for doctoral students and postdocs
• CV checks, speed coaching, and application workshops
• Company and research institution presentations
• Networking and alumni experience exchange

Around 100 exhibiting companies are expected to attend the fair to exchange ideas with students and graduates. The number of visitors is around 6,000 participants from 13 faculties of the university and surrounding universities such as HAWK, PFH, and TU Clausthal. Highlights include thematic lectures, online pre-events in the week before the fair, a “job wall” with current job postings, and a joint stand for regional employers from southern Lower Saxony.
