bpt-Kongress 2026 in Hannover

The bpt Congress 2026 will take place from November 19 to 21, 2026 at the Convention Center of Hannover Messe. As one of the most important continuing education events for practising veterinarians in German-speaking countries, the congress offers a comprehensive specialist program with ATF-recognized courses for various practice areas as well as for practice management and food safety.

Main topics of the congress:

• Small animal, equine and farm animal medicine
• Food safety and animal disease control
• Practice management and business start-ups
• Professional policy discussions and roundtables
• Further training for veterinary assistants (TFA)

The congress will be accompanied by the bpt trade fair for veterinary medicine, where over 160 exhibitors will present their products and services. A varied supporting program with seminars, workshops and networking events rounds off the event.

The last bpt Congress 2025 in Wiesbaden was a complete success with almost 3,400 visitors. The specialist program attracted 2,980 participants, including 750 students, 160 veterinary assistants and 10 practice managers. A total of 200 speakers from science and practice gave presentations on current topics.
