denkmal 2026 will take place from November 5 to 7, 2026, at the Leipzig Exhibition Center and is regarded as Europe’s leading trade fair for historic preservation, restoration, and the renovation of older buildings. Since its founding in 1994, it has become one of the most important international gathering places for professionals in the fields of historic preservation, architecture, restoration, skilled trades, and construction. The event brings together experts, institutions, owners of historic buildings, and decision-makers from across Europe.

The trade fair covers the entire spectrum of the preservation and sustainable use of historic buildings. Running concurrently are the museum trade fair MUTEC, the trade fair for earthen construction, as well as other special sections and expert forums. At the 2024 anniversary edition, 499 exhibitors from 26 countries presented their offerings alongside MUTEC, while 13,400 visitors came to Leipzig.
