WindEnergy Hamburg 2028 will take place from September 26 to 29, 2028, at the Hamburg Messe und Congress exhibition center. The international trade fair for onshore and offshore wind energy brings together companies and trade visitors from across the entire value chain. It offers a platform for new technologies, international business contacts, and discussions on the future development of the wind energy industry.

The range of exhibits extends from wind turbines and supplier components to services and solutions for energy supply. The focus is on both technical innovations and the economic and infrastructural prerequisites for the expansion of wind power.

According to preliminary figures from the organizers, the 2026 edition attracted more than 40,000 attendees from over 100 countries, as well as more than 1,600 exhibiting companies from around 40 countries. Among the special highlights were the Energy Storage Area—set up for the first time with its own exhibition hall—and the technical program featuring over 300 speakers on six open stages. In addition, the Recruiting Days offered insights into career opportunities within the wind energy industry. These formats underscore the combination of technology presentations, knowledge transfer, and networking that defines the trade show’s profile.
