The Hannover Fair, together with Deutsche Messe AG, belongs to the world-leading fair agencies. With 26 fair halls on 466.100 m² and 58.000 m² outdoor area, the Hannover Fair is the biggest fair location on this planet.
Also belonging to the fair premises, there is the Convention Center. The congress-center supplies an area of 5.232 m” on which 1300 persons can come together in 35 rooms.
Additionally, the Hannover Fair not only has 40 restaurants, but also is home to the world’s biggest fair restaurant, giving place to 3.200 guests.
To the world-known leading trade fairs belong the CeBit, the trade fair of information and telecommunication industry and the Hannover Fair, the industry trade fair.

Directions to the Hannover Trade Fair

The Hannover fair is very well reachable from all directions. From NorthFrom the A7 in direction Kassel/Hannover you take exit (Ausfahrt) 55 Altwarmbüchen. From there, change to the A37 or B5, the fair-express-way to Hannover/Messe. From SouthIf you are coming from the A/ in direction Hannover/Hamburg, take exit 60 Dreieck Hannover-Süd. Then, ride on the A37 or the B3 on the fair-express way to the Hannover Fair. From EastIf you are coming from the A2 in direction Magdeburg/Hannover/Dortmund, take exit 47 Kreuz Hannover Buchholz. After that, take the A37 or the B3 to the Hannover Fair. |
Hannover Airport Hannover Airport is roughly 30 km away from the Hannover fair. To the fair locationFrom the airport’s train station, located between terminal B and C, you can take the S5 in direction Hameln to Hannover main station. Then, take the metro U8 to Messe/Nord. This journey takes you approx.. 45 minutes. TaxiA taxi ride costs roughly 50 € and takes 25 minutes in good traffic conditions. Additionally, the Hannover Fair offers a shuttle service from the airport to the fair location. |
Hannover Main Station
Hannover’s main station is roughly 10 km away from the fair. Length of journey
From the main station you can take the S4 in direction Hildesheim main station and reach the destination in 7 minutes at stop Messe/Laatze. From there it’s only a 5 minute walk to the north entrance. Alternatively, you take the U8 in direction Messe/Nord, a 20 minute ride until the last station. Then it’s only a few meters. TaxiA taxi ride costs roughly 25 € for 10 km. |
Parking at the Trade Fair Hannover
Hannover’s fair location has over 28.000 parking spots for cars and busses. A modern guide-system takes the visitors to the available parking spots.
If you are coming to the Hannover fair with an electrically powered care, you can certainly recharge it at the fair. The charging stations are located at the north entrance on parking lot 4.
