Company: Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and MMI Asia Pte Ltd (MMI)

HKTDC and MMI is looking for reliable and outgoing temporary staff (m/f/d) to support our team at a trade fair. As a temporary helper, you support our team with various activities. You help wherever there is a need and show flexibility and commitment. Candidates should meet the following criteria:

Duties

• Assist exhibitors / visitors on the general enquiries regarding to the exhibition and/or venue
• If participant approaches the service counter regarding to exhibitions application, please:
  1. Ask them to which exhibition(s) they are interested;
  2. Ask them to leave a business card for the project manager to follow up.
• Collect and distribute guides and flyers to the exhibitors
• Keep the office clean, tidy and refill the water kettles, coffee machine and refreshment regularly
• Remind exhibitor to return empty bottle to the organizer's offices

Candidate Requirements

• Must be physically fit and able to walk and stand for extended periods
• Punctual, responsible, and well-organised
• Fluent in both German and English; additional European languages, Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus
• Professional appearance and grooming; clean business attire required
• Friendly, confident, and approachable personality
• Able to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Possess a cell phone & willingness to use a messaging app (esp. WhatsApp)
• Prior experience in trade fairs, customer service, retail, or hospitality is an advantage
• Quick to learn and adapt to new tasks
