JAGD & HUND 2020 in Dortmund

The JAGD & HUND is Europe's largest hunting fair. It takes place every year in Dortmund and is the meeting place for hunters, dog lovers and nature lovers. The topics of the fair go beyond mere hunting - for example, the contact between different groups, such as hunters, huntswomen and young hunters, is one of the exhibitions priorities

About 82,000 visitors from 40 nations came to JAGD & HUND 2019. They were advised by 800 exhibitors on their products, services and concepts. The proportion of exhibitors from abroad was approx. one third and is increasing from year to year. Virtually all hunting dog breeds were represented - a total of around 1,300 dogs were exhibited at the fair. The subject areas for 2020 are:

The accompanying programme of the fair included exciting off-road vehicle parcours, hunting fashion shows, thrilling activities, presentations of hunting birds, workshops for preparation of game with TV chefs, star chefs and top chefs, various competitions and the presentation of awards such as the RedFox Award. At the same time the FISCH & ANGEL - fair for angling - will take place.
