Leipziger Tierärztekongress 2020

The Leipziger veterinarian congress is the undisputed number 1 under the advanced training meetings for veterinary medicine in the German-speaking countries. As national meeting place for the industry the congress addresses veterinaries of the livestock and domestic animal sector aswell as veterinaries in the public sector or in science and industry. The congress was held for the first time in 1998 and takes place every 2 years. The vetexpo industrial exhibition will be held in parallel. The event is both an ideal presentation platform and a unique opportunity to cultivate proven contacts and make new ones.

The Leipzig Veterinary Congress 2018 attracted 5,400 participants. Around 500 speakers, moderators and seminar leaders from Germany and abroad were present. In 2020, the Leipzig Veterinary Congress celebrates its 10th anniversary. More than 240 exhibitors presented their products, innovations and solutions on an exhibition area of 10,000 m² at the vetexpo 2018 industrial exhibition - the largest in the German-speaking world. The 2018 congress programme offered a wide range of training opportunities and gave participants the opportunity to exchange views on the latest topics in the industry.
