modell-hobby-spiel 2020 [ABGESAGT] in Leipzig

The model-hobby-spiel is an exhibition for model making, model railways, creative design and play. As the largest industry event of its kind, it has been held annually since 1996. It is Germany's largest hobby room and offers visitors a wide range of different leisure activities. In the theme worlds of the trade fair, visitors are offered action areas with experience character, workshops and participatory offers for all ages, specialist exchanges and advice for beginners and experts, as well as trends, materials and products.

In 2019, 99,200 visitors came to the 24th model-hobby-spiel. The 620 exhibitors presented their products, novelties and innovations from the fields of model making, technology, games and do-it-yourself on around 90,000 m² of exhibition space. The fair offered the following five subject areas:

• Spielwiese - games for movement, boards and head-nuts, toys, award ceremony Graf LUDO
• Creative space - innumerable suggestions around the topics handicrafts, painting & drawing, airbrush, handicrafts, decorating, florist
• Tekki Area - Multikopter, FPV, Virtual Reality, Race-Cars, Robotics, 3D Printing, CNC Milling and Laser Engraving
• Modellwelt - model railway, car model making, flight model making, ship model making, plastic model making & cardboard model making
• Collectors' corner - philately, numismatics, car models

The supporting programme of the fair included various events, including small exhibitions, workshops, shows, indoor shows, lectures, demonstrations and award ceremonies (Graf LUDO).
