Six Day Berlin 2022 [VERSCHOBEN]

Six Day Berlin - the Berlin Six-Day Race - transforms Berlin into the most important meeting place of the cycling scene every year. As early as 1909, the first Six Day Race took place in Berlin - making it the oldest in the world. Each team consists of two cyclists. On six evenings in a row, they fight for victory in various disciplines. It is a Track cycling competition were teams compete against each other in different contests to win the overall victory.

2022 will see the 110th edition of Six Day Berlin. Once again, the best cyclists in the world will compete against each other in the Velodrom in the following categories: Men, women, sprinters and U23 cyclists.
The individual disciplines are:

• Madison Race
• Team time trial over 2 laps
• The longest Lap

At the race also women teams, sprinter and motorized "Dernies" are starting. "Dernies" are Mopeds, which are driving in front of the race driver to lead them through the race. In Berlin also motor-paced racer participate with heavy motorcycles after a long tradition.
